As Lead Author and Head of Product Knowledge in Lendscape, my role is to help clients and team members understand our great products, and how to get the best out of them. That means building an online knowledge hub, creating tutorials for our learning platform, internal information sharing sessions, and customer webinars. Lots to do, but never a dull day, and it is great to see people using the new content, and discovering new things.
I’ve been a technical author for most of my career, and worked in lots of different industries. The one constant is people. When you take the time to explain something to someone, that person feels better. Better about the product, more valued, more empowered. In Lendscape, we have teams of smart, committed people who are excited by new technology and ways of making things better. We in Product Knowledge have to keep up, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Outside work, I spend my time defending our very large dog from our very small cat, doing amateur house renovations, practising yoga, and I recently discovered bouldering. I have friends and family all over the world, so I do a fair bit of travelling, or hosting, or both. Life at Lendscape supports all of that, though the cat is still outsmarting us all.
